Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer Manager:

• Oversee the management of the manufacturing engineering and programming teams, with responsibility for supervising all aspects of developing, documenting, implementing, supporting, and continuously enhancing efficient and cost-effective production manufacturing processes.
• Take the lead in the development, support, and ongoing improvement of manufacturing processes, procedures, and tooling to enhance both manufacturing costs and quality.
• Provide sustained support for addressing manufacturing issues, including the resolution of technically complex production challenges.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of process performance data to identify and implement enhancements in manufacturing processes.
• Ensure that the organization maintains the necessary Manufacturing Engineering support structure, capabilities, and functional groups.
• Coordinate and closely monitor manufacturing engineering and programming tasks to support the introduction of New Programs, ensuring compliance with critical timelines and productivity objectives.

Requirements of the Manufacturing Engineer Manager:

• BSME and 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience within a regulated environment.
• Must have prior experience in the supervision and management of engineers, technicians and teams with an emphasis on lean, Six Sigma and related efficiency programs.
• Knowledge of production standards as well as design engineering standards.
