Application Engineer - Job ID:3057
Responsibilities
· Will Provide technical support to customer project managers and technical resources during all phases of projects
· Supporting internal technical services design team developing project drawing packages and construction permitting packages
· Perform site visits to analyze and develop database of product application
· Provide application expertise to new product development design specifications
· Serve as a resource on projects requiring advanced knowledge, analytical thinking, and innovation
· Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
· Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, making decisions about purchases of materials or services, and assists with the development and implementation of departmental budgets
· Frequent travel may be required
Qualifications:
· BS in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering
· Technical knowledge or geotechnical, structural, mechanical, civil engineering, and construction related principles
· Technical experience in solar electric or related field
· 5 or more years of engineering experience in a solar or construction-related field
· 3 or more years of experience managing engineering teams
· Strong project management skills
· Working knowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering tools
Candidates must live local and be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
