Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Manager:

  • Oversee quality on the manufacturing floor
  • Approve specifications, batch records etc. and other GMP activities
  • Review batch records/documentation
  • Ensure all deviations from established procedures are appropriately documented and investigated to determine and fix root cause
  • Assist with implementation and supporting on-going continuous improvements
  • Support quality approval or rejection, as appropriate, for starting materials, packaging materials, intermediates, bulk and finished product
  • Supervise associates by providing work direction, performance management and professional development
Requirements of the Manufacturing Manager:
  • Minimum B.S. degree in life science related field
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams with direct reports in GMP manufacturing operations setting
  • Hands on experience in cell culture, purification and aseptic fill/finish
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and experience with external audits/inspections
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems
  • Must be ok to work 2nd shift hours
