Scientist is responsible for carrying out in vivo and in vitro pharmacology studies in models of eye diseases. He/she will be accountable for evaluating test compounds in these models. The candidate should have experience and expertise in in vivo pharmacology and animal surgery. The candidate will generate data, analyze scientific results, provide oral and written reports, and remain current with regard to literature reports and technological developments. Candidate needs to be able to work well in a dynamic fast paced team environment.
Education BS or MS degree in biology, physiology, pharmacology, immunology, cellular biology, or related discipline; minimum of 1 year experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry; broad scientific foundation, strong work ethic, excellent oral and written communication, and ability to function in an interdisciplinary team setting are essential.
Candidates must live local and be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
