Associate Director/Director (Gene Editing)
Position located in Boston, MA
NewCo is looking for a highly motivated and creative Director as our first employee. This is an exciting position working with creative, world leading founders and top investors. This person will be leading the initial research program and building the core, foundational team.
Responsibilities of the Associate Director/Director (Gene Editing:
- Lead the initial research program.
- Comfortable leading and managing a group of scientists.
- RNA or genome editing background.
- Will be involved with developing core IP around early research work.
Requirements of the Associate Director/Director (Gene Editing):
- PhD with specialization in Genome Editing, Biology, Molecular Biology or related scientific discipline.
- Experience in RNA or genome editing required.
- Strong molecular biologist.
- Previous people leadership experience.
- A proven scientific leader with 8+ years of industry experience in preclinical candidate development focused on genetic disease.
