Associate Scientist, Vectors

Responsibilities of the Associate Scientist, Vectors:

  • Design vectors and develop plasmids for protein/antibody expression
  • Perform in vitro cell based immunoassays and cell sorting/separation techniques
  • Utilize gene editing technology to manipulate cell lines
  • Perform molecular biology on nucleic acids as needed
  • Present data and findings to team
  • Mentor more junior associates

Requirements of the Associate Scientist, Vectors:

  • BS/MS with 2+ years industry experience
  • Strong background with modern day cloning methods such as Golden Gate and/or Gibson as well as protein purification is required
  • Expertise in the characterization and design of vectors is preferred
  • Previous experience with CRISPR or other advanced gene editing techniques is a strong plus
