Responsibilities of the Customer Support Engineer:

  • Perform preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and other various troubleshooting duties for company instrumentation
  • Travel to clients to assess equipment installation, repairs, and maintenance
  • Provide customer support for clients
  • Record activities in company database
  • Coordinate with internally scientists and engineers on client issues
  • Comply within cGMP guidelines

Requirements of the Customer Support Engineer:

  • Minimum Associate’s degree with 2+ years experience in a laboratory or field service environment. BS/MS in chemistry or engineering discipline preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair laboratory instrumentation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Competent with MS Office
  • Must have valid driver’s license and access to vehicle for travel
