Responsibilities of the Scientific Sales Manager (Lab Instrumentation):
- Manage strategic partnerships for field service and instrumentation.
- Responsible for accounts in the assigned territory to attain, recapture and expand specific targets.
- Participate in discovery for high impact opportunities.
- Follow-up on sales leads through media advertising and scientific meetings & seminars to sell products.
- Prospect new clients amongst our existing contacts and new prospects along with cross selling between the legacy businesses.
- Manage strategic partnerships for field service and instrumentation.
- Interface with marketing to help implement plans and initiatives for the benefit of the commercial team.
Requirements of the Scientific Sales Manager (Lab Instrumentation):
- BS or MS in life sciences field, Chemistry preferred.
- 2+ years lab instrumentation sales experience.
- Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic).
- Valid driver’s license and passport.
