Scientist, Cell Line Development
Responsibilities of the Scientist, Cell Line Development:
- Maintain and develop cell lines for development and testing of therapeutic agents and vaccines.
- Perform transfection and utilize modern day cloning techniques.
- Perform some downstream purification as needed for protein expression.
- Optimize plasmid vectors.
Requirements of the Scientist, Cell Line Development:
- MS or PhD in life science related discipline with 2-5+ years’ experience working mammalian cell culture systems.
- Previous experience with cell line generation/development and transfection or cloning methods is a must have.
- Experience with high through put screening is a plus.
