Responsibilities of the Scientist, Computational/Molecular Biology:

  • Lead research activities developing molecular instructions for computing
  • Designing and executing wet lab experiments to meet project goals and development timelines
  • Coordinating with biology, engineering, bioinformatic, and software teams
  • Participating in strategic planning and execution for the company’s technology
  • Publishing peer-reviewed articles and filing patents on team’s research achievements

Requirements of the Scientist, Computational/Molecular Biology:

  • PhD or MS in field related to biology, physics, or engineering
  • Requisite experience in molecular biology or biochemistry
  • Recommended experience in software engineering and computer science
  • Industry experience including direct management of scientists is a plus
