Scientist, Epigenome CRISPR Modeling

Responsibilities of the Scientist, Epigenome CRISPR Modeling:

  • Conduct and design experiments the field of epigenetics and epigenomic
  • Utilize CRISPR and gene editing technologies in human disease models
  • Identify hit to lead optimization studies
  • Present results and lead conversations regarding epigenetic strategies within group and cross functional teams
  • Assist in IP development, manuscript writing, publications, abstracts, and other intellectual property as needed

Requirements of the Scientist, Epigenome CRISPR Modeling:

  • PhD in life science related discipline with 4+ years laboratory experience or MS with 8+ years experience
  • Previous experience in gene therapy epigenomics is highly desired
  • Hands on experience with CRISPR or other gene editing techniques
  • High throughput assay development experience is helpful
  • Prior experience working with primary cell models, including iPSCs is highly desired
  • Experience working with neurodegenerative diseases is a plus
  • Must be ok working in a small startup environment
