Senior Research Associate, Analytical

Responsibilities of the Senior Research Associate, Analytical:

  • Contribute to the development of fit-for-purpose analytical methods to support candidate selection, capsid validation, proof-of-concept and preclinical safety studies using platforms such as ddPCR, qPCR, automated Western Blotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, in-situ hybridization and fluorescent microscopy. Perform analysis of preclinical study samples using qualified bioanalytical methods.
  • Execute validation activities for select analytical methods according to appropriate guidelines (GLP, GCP, ICH, CLSI). Assist with transfer of qualified assay methods to cross-functional colleagues and CRO partners.
  • Execute method development, validation and testing to meet deadlines for program milestones.
  • Implement new laboratory workflows and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements of the Senior Research Associate, Analytical:

  • BS or MS in Biology or relevant scientific area.
  • A minimum of 3 years of industry experience with some experience developing and validating bioanalytical methods.
  • Experience in analysis of preclinical samples for biomarker, bio-distribution and safety parameters.
  • A strong record of demonstrating analytical reasoning and creative problem-solving skills in a laboratory environment, including common statistical analysis methods and software related to method development and validation.
