Responsibilities of the Senior Research Associate, Molecular Biology:
- Scale-up and purify plasmids for use in downstream applications
- Develop and execute NGS library prep methods
- Maintain records, prepare reports, make presentations to update multi-functional project teams and leadership
- Contribute to group goals through collaboration, shared expertise and exchange of ideas
Requirements of the Senior Research Associate, Molecular Biology:
- B.S. or M.S. in molecular biology, biochemistry, biology or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years experience, preferably in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting
- Experience with molecular biology techniques such as cloning, PCR, Gibson assembly, DNA purification is required
- Experience with NGS is preferred
