Senior Scientist – Next Generation Sequencing

Direct Hire Position located in Boston, MA
Responsibilities of the Senior Scientist, Next Generation Sequencing:
- Develop and optimize NGS protocols for library generation and sequencing including amplicon sequencing (AMP-seq), and single cell genomics.
- Optimize next generation sequencing library workflows.
- Collaborate with computational team to support data analysis.
Qualifications of the Senior Scientist, Next Generation Sequencing:
- PhD degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or relevant scientific field (or equivalent) with 1+ years relevant experience in industry, or MS with 6+ years relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with NGS library generation and operating sequencing platforms is required.
- A deep understanding of molecular biology.
