Responsibilities of the Senior Scientist (Pharmacokinetics):
- The successful candidate will be part of a team working on determining the disposition mechanisms and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) relationships of mRNA therapeutics.
- Will work closely with colleagues in Research focused in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK).
- Collaborate with scientists and project leaders in Research to enhance mRNA.
- Develop and execute DMPK strategies and plans aligned with the platform; mRNA delivery to targeted tissues, enable drug candidate selection, characterization, and transition into development.
- Represent DMPK on a variety of interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements of the Senior Scientist (Pharmacokinetics):
- PhD in pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical sciences, or related disciplines.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of biodistribution, pharmacokinetics and PK/PD principles.
- Must have experience with oligo or mRNA therapeutics.
- 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
