Position located in Wilmington, MA

Responsibilities of the Contract Manufacturing Technician:

• Responsible for polymer drying, blending and extrusion.
• Will work with dry powders and chemicals for lithium ion battery production.
• Weigh powders, mix inks, perform chemical/slurry and solvent-based operations, stamping electrodes, stacking cells, welding tabs, filling electrolytes, sealing cells, and preparing cells for testing.
• Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Measure and weigh powders/solvents.

Requirements Contract Manufacturing Technician:

• Associate’s degree preferred and 1-3+ years in a technical field related to polymers, chemical or mechanical production (biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred) or, HS diploma (or GED) and 3+ years manufacturing experience (biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred).
• Hands-on manufacturing operations skills required.
• GMP experience is a plus, ISO-8 or higher clean room experience is a plus.
