Requirements of the L&D RN:

• RN Labor & Delivery – Night Shift, Every other weekend rotation 7pm
• 5+ years L&D experience preferred.
• EPIC experience required.
• Comfortability in the OR preferred.
• Flu vaccine required for new staff starting 9/2. Current staff will need to be vaccinated by 12/1. (declinations not accepted).
• Active MA license required at time of submissions.

Responsibilities of the L&D RN:

• Expected to and is accountable for providing safe patient care by demonstrating organizational skills that maintain and coordinate safe delivery of quality care for assigned patients/families.
• Develops a culturally competent plan of care that identifies patient problems, expected outcomes, and addresses preventative measures.
• Performs systematic patient and family assessment relevant to practice settings.
• Delivers care that is specific to the age of the patient.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care and adapts plan based on patient/family response.
