Position located in Cambridge, MA

Requirements of the Postpartum RN:

• Must have acute care experience.
• Must work every other weekend.
• Must work every other major holiday.
• Flu vaccine required during season.

Responsibilities of the Postpartum RN:

• Common patient diagnosis: Post vaginal delivery; post c-section delivery; intermittent post-partum magnesium or postpartum hemorrhage
• Required Drips & Medications: IV antibiotics; IV magnesium intermittently, PRBC; rhogam, lovenox
• Specialty Equipment: Welch Allyn blood pressure; Nihon Khoden; venodynm machine; IV pump; panda warmer; Medela Breast pump
• Patients: Newborn
• Number of Beds in the Unit: 13 Postpartum and 4 Continuing Care Nursery

Submission Requirements of the Postpartum RN:

• Up to date resume that includes 1+ year(s) of experience in Postpartum. Travel experience preferred; willing to accept first time travelers.
• 2 recent Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor references matching specialty
• Skills Checklist matching specialty
• Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
• Current AHA BLS & NRP required. Lactation certification preferred.
• NURSYS Verification Report with ACTIVE MA RN license; must show ALL licenses (past or present) pulled within the last 7 days
• RTO must be included at time of submission; it will not be guaranteed after confirmation.
• EMR Exp Preferred: EPIC

Gross Salary Range: $2736 per week
