Requirements of the ICU RN:

• 36hr guarantee
• CHARGE NURSE EXP IPREFERRED
• Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU and documents travel experience.
• 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN References
• Skills Checklist matching specialty
• Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
• Current AHA ACLS , BLS, NIHSS
• NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL active RN licenses.
• RTO MUST be included at time of submission
• EMR Exp Required: EPIC

Job Description of ICU RN:

• Unit: ICU
• Shift: 6:30p-7a (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
• Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
• Heart experience HIGHLY preferred – Manager looking at these as priority!
• Floating Required: Yes
• Scrub Color: Navy

Unit Specifics of the ICU RN:

• Beds: 42 beds (East 20, West 22), Neuro/Med: 22, CTICU: 6, Surg/Trauma: 14
• Floating required if needed: To all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
• Common patient diagnosis: Neuro/Med -Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post Stemi
• CTICU- CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surg/Trauma- Trauma, Major post-op sx
• Specialty equipment used on unit: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun)
