Position located in Boston, MA

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and well-organized research activities.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve laboratory procedures, SOPs, workflows, and operational processes.
• Manage laboratory supplies, reagents, consumables, and equipment, including purchasing, inventory control, maintenance, and service agreements.
• Monitor laboratory expenditures and support budget planning and cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure laboratory facilities, equipment, and workspaces are maintained in accordance with company, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain systems for laboratory organization, documentation, sample tracking, and materials management.
• Identify opportunities to improve laboratory efficiency, automation, utilization, and overall operational performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in a research laboratory, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, academic, clinical research, or related scientific environment.
• 2+ years of experience managing laboratory operations, technical personnel, research programs, or laboratory projects preferred.
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and maintaining laboratory SOPs and operational workflows.
• Experience with laboratory inventory, equipment, supplies, sample management, and vendor relationships.
