Position located in Rochester, MN
Responsibilities of the Scientist (Molecular Biology):
- Develop, optimize, and validate molecular biology methods for gene and cell therapy applications (e.g., VCN, gene editing proficiency, genomic titer, RCL, residual DNA).
- Perform molecular cloning, DNA plasmid purification, and in vitro transcription to generate assay controls.
- Design, execute, and analyze digital PCR (dPCR) and qPCR assays.
- Support assay development through CRISPR-based screen optimization and molecular assay validation.
Requirements of the Scientist (Molecular Biology):
- PhD (1+ year industry) or MSc (3+ years industry).
- Proven experience developing and validating dPCR and qPCR assays.
- Must have experience with molecular cloning.
