Contract Animal Technician
Position is located in Columbus, OH

Responsibilities:
Perform husbandry tasks for study animals including cage change.
Perform daily study animal checks to promote animal welfare.
Perform colony Management tasks
Oversight and performance of routine maintenance.
Receiving rodents.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Study Protocols.
Document with strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Requirements:
Associate or bachelor’s degree, scientific field preferred.
Ability to work holidays and weekends.
Passionate about animal welfare.
Experience in laboratory animal handling and restraint techniques.
