Requirements of the Critical Care RN:

• 2-5 years of ICU experience required.
• Trauma level I Facility Experience is preferred but may consider candidates who are experienced in Trauma level II settings.
• Previous travel experience preferred
• EPIC experience required.
• Will float as needed to ICU and PCU.
• BLS and ACLS License
• Current MA RN License
• Tele test will be administered on first day and it will be pass/fail. Fail could result in assignment termination.

Responsibilities of the Critical Care RN:

• The Critical Care RN is expected to and is accountable for providing safe patient care by demonstrating organizational skills that maintain and coordinate safe delivery of quality care for assigned patients/families.
• Develops a culturally competent plan of care that identifies patient problems, expected outcomes, and addresses preventative measures.
• Performs systematic patient and family assessment relevant to practice settings.
• Delivers care that is specific to the age of the patient.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care and adapts plan based on patient/family response.
