Responsibilities of the Desktop Support Technician:

  • Provide direct, hands-on and remote support to users who are experiencing desktop operating system, connectivity and applications issues and provide complete follow-through to successful resolution.
  • Perform hardware diagnostics and execute or coordinate repairs in a timely fashion to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing, and documenting new procedures as well as suggest process improvements
  • Respond to and update incidents, requests, and questions promptly.
  • Oversee tracking and management of inventory.

Requirements of the Desktop Support Technician:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have 2+ years experience supporting Windows and MacOS hardware and operating systems.
  • Jamf 100 Certification.
