Requirements of the ED RN:

• 2 + years tele experience, 1 year of previous travel experience required.
• Tele experience, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, CPI/MAB
• Tele test will be administered on first day and it will be pass/fail. Fail could result in assignment termination. Study material will be provided at the time of assignment confirmation.
• Flu vaccine required for new staff (declinations not accepted).
• Active MA license required at time of submissions

Responsibilities of the ED RN:

• The ED RN is expected to and is accountable for providing safe patient care by demonstrating organizational skills that maintain and coordinate safe delivery of quality care for assigned patients/families.
• Develops a culturally competent plan of care that identifies patient problems, expected outcomes, and addresses preventative measures.
• Performs systematic patient and family assessment relevant to practice settings.
• Delivers care that is specific to the age of the patient.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care and adapts plan based on patient/family response.
