Nurse Manager (Postpartum)

8 hour day shift, 40 hours/week

(Must have minimum 3-5yrs Nurse Manager experience in Postpartum Units)

Unit: Post Partum
Charge Capability: Highly Preferred

The Post Partum Unit consists of 14 private rooms with a level 1b Continuing Care nursery. This unit provides care for mothers and infants through the early stages of postpartum to discharge. We foster a culturally sensitive approach to couplet care and early family bonding.

Manager Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of Nurse Manager experience in Postpartum.
• At least 1 year of documented travel nurse experience
• Acute care experience
• 3-5 years of clinical experience in a Continuing Care Nursery, Special Care Nursery (SCN), or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Current AHA BLS & NRP certifications
• Minimum 2 years progressive management experience
• Specialty certification required or obtained within one year of appointment.

ACTIVE MA RN license

EMR Experience Preferred: EPIC

Flu vaccine required during season
