We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our client’s outpatient orthopedic team. In this full-time, weekday role, you will work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality, personalized rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness. Responsibilities of the Physical Therapy Assistant:

• Assist Physical Therapists in carrying out individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities (e.g., massage, e-stim, hot/cold packs).
• Monitor and document patient progress, and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and effective care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with facility and professional standards.

Requirements of the Physical Therapy Assistant:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
