Requirements of the ED RN:

• Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in ED with some PEDS experience. Also, documenting travel experience.
• Skills Checklist matching specialty
• Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
• Current AHA ACLS , BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL RN licenses.
• RTO MUST be included at time of submission
• EMR Exp Required: EPIC

Job Description of the ED RN:

• Unit: Emergency Department
• Shift: 8:30am-9pm (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
• Charge Capability: HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Floating Required: Yes
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Unit Specifics: Common patient diagnosis: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Resp Failure Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun Patients: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatric
• Number of Beds in the Unit: 64 beds , 2 Triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 psych
