Position located in Rochester, MN
Responsibilities of the Research Associate I/II:
- Maintain mammalian cell lines in culture and isolate primary cells from whole blood and other tissues.
- Perform transfection and infection of cell culture with different viral and non-viral vectors.
- Perform ELISA and cell-based assays.
- Perform basic cloning, PCR, RNA and gDNA isolation.
- Collaborate with other team members to advance cross-functional scientific projects and standardize adoption of new scientific techniques.
Requirements of the Research Associate I/II:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Virology, Biochemistry or related field.
- Must have experience with mammalian cell culture and PCR.
- Ability to work and learn in an efficient manner.
