Position located in Cambridge, MA

Requirements:

• Shift: Rotating
• Floating Required: No
• Must have acute care experience.
• Must work every other weekend.
• Must work every other major holiday.
• On-Call Requirements: Not required; they do call for volunteers to cover vacant shifts, if needed.

Unit Specifics:

• Common patient diagnosis: Post vaginal delivery; post c-section delivery; intermittent post-partum magnesium or postpartum hemorrhage
• Required Drips & Medications: IV antibiotics; IV magnesium intermittently, PRBC; rhogam, lovenox
• Specialty Equipment: Welch Allyn blood pressure; Nihon Khoden; venodynm machine; IV pump; panda warmer; Medela Breast pump
• Patients: Newborn
• Number of Beds in the Unit: 13 Postpartum and 4 Continuing Care Nursery

Submission Requirements:

• 1+ year(s) of experience in Postpartum. Travel experience preferred; willing to accept first time travelers.
• AHA BLS & NRP required. Lactation certification preferred.
• Massachusetts RN license required
• EMR Exp Preferred: EPIC

Estimated Gross Salary: $2916/weekly
