Position located in Providence, RI
Responsibilities of the Scientific Sales Associate (Inorganic Chemistry):
- Apply technical knowledge of chemistry, laboratory skills, creative thinking and aptitude towards troubleshoot issues in chemical manufacturing.
- Work closely with Technical Support to help resolve customer issues that require in-depth experimental investigation.
- Generate new business by identifying and engaging high-potential prospects.
- Qualify inbound leads from our website and marketing channels.
- Schedule and lead educational introductory conversations with prospective customers.
Requirements of the Scientific Sales Associate (Inorganic Chemistry):
- BS or MS in Chemistry, ChemE, or Life Science.
- 1-3+ years of industry experience in scientific sales support or application engineering (inside or outside sales).
- Experience with inorganic chemistry, chemical coatings, advanced materials, or related industrial applications preferred.
