Position located in Cambridge, MA

Responsibilities of the Senior Research Associate:

• Will be responsible for primary cell culture and performing molecular biology techniques.
• Responsibilities include supporting laboratory maintenance, conducting flow cytometry experiments, and ensuring accurate data analysis
• Maintain accurate record keeping in laboratory notebooks and appropriate databases in a timely manner.
• Perform literature searches and analysis as needed for process and assay development.
• Maintain inventory of reagents and disposables and order supplies as needed.

Requirements of the Senior Research Associate:

• BS or MS in Biology, Molecular Biology, or a relevant field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in primary cell culture and molecular biology techniques (PCR, qPCR, etc.).
• Must have experience with multi-color flow cytometry.
• Theoretical and hands-on knowledge and experience with methods used for molecular characterization of mammalian cells, particularly cell culture techniques, imaging, metabolic profiling and gene expression analysis.
